Welcome to Betbug's Buzzword Bingo

This game is intended as a second screen application while enjoying a meaningful and engrossing presentation

You will be issued a board with words or phrases common to the topic of the presentation

As the presentation continues, claim the words the presenter includes in the presentation by clicking them

How To Play

Win the game by getting a row, column or diagonal set of 5 confirmed squares
Star squares are automatically available to be included in a winning set
Barred squares cannot be included in a winning set
You may get a chance to confirm or deny another users' claimed words. You will have 20 seconds to do this.
Reliable committee participation may result in a player being issued a star
If you are denied by committee, your claim will be rolled back and you may be issued a bar
After three denials by committee you will lose the ability to make claims
If the committee result is indeterminate, the word will be barred on all boards

Claiming words outside the designated start and end times of the presentation is not allowed
Valid words are confirmed to have been said by a presenter or appeared on a slide. Audience contributions are not admissable.
Valid words can include widely recognized alternates, so acronyms can stand in for full phrases or vice versa.
Alternate stemming is acceptable, so "staking rewards", "staked reward", "stake rewarding" could all be valid alternates. For now, it comes down to what the committee will confirm.
A player may make only one claim at a time
Too many unresolved claims may prevent further claims until the current ones are resolved
One bingo card per session per address
To qualify for prizes, a game must have at least 5 players
You are always welcome to play without anteing, however you will not be eligible for prizes
As more players join, more prizes will be distributed
If there are no winning boards, players will be able to reclaim their ante minus gas fees. The option to reclaim will be available for a week.
